Robert Hitchins Ltd welcomes ecologists Biocensus as new tenant at Bond's Mill
Expanding ecological consultancy Biocensus Ltd has moved into new premises at the Bond’s Mill business park in Stonehouse.
It has taken a three-year lease on 938sq ft in Bank House as a home for its growing in-house team.
The company provides high-quality ecological surveys and advice for projects of all sizes – from a single-home development to the High Speed 2 railway.
It uses a network of 600 ecologists in the UK who live near the sites they are working on, thus minimising the company’s carbon footprint. Biocensus also has an office in Bath.
Director Dr Gavin Wilson said: “Rapid growth in our smaller-scale, technical advisory work and the deployment of large teams of ecologists on large infrastructure projects mean that we have quickly expanded our in-house team.
“The Bond’s Mill offices are ideal for us – they have character, ample space, easy access to the M5, the potential to take on additional rooms if we continue to grow and a great canal-side location.”
Helen Hawke from Robert Hitchins welcomed Biocensus to Bond’s Mill which is situated alongside the Stroudwater Canal in a mix of refurbished Victorian mill buildings and modern commercial premises.
“It’s great to have a firm of ecologists adding to the wide variety of companies on site in offices ranging from 100 to 5,000sq ft,” she said.
Andrew Watton Property Consultants acted on behalf of Robert Hitchins Ltd.
